Congratulations on your pregnancy!

We offer shared care between the surgery, midwives based at the Tarner Children’s Centre (Ivory Place, Brighton. BN2 9QE) and the antenatal department at the hospital.

Your first appointment (between 6-10 weeks pregnancy) is with the midwives. In order to book this appointment please telephone 01273 296 700, between the hours of 1.00pm and 4.00pm.

You are usually seen at the surgery by your GP at around 31 weeks pregnancy. In order to make this appointment please telephone 01273 328 950 option 2.

You are of course welcome to contact the midwives or your GP at any stage of your pregnancy.

We recommend that all women take 400mcg folic acid as soon as you find out that you are pregnant and ideally as soon as you start trying.
