Please note that during the week Montpelier Surgery is closed from 6.00pm until 8.30am the following day and on Wednesday from 5.00pm to 8.30am.

In addition the surgery is closed over the weekend from 6pm on Friday until 8.30am on Monday.

If an emergency occurs and you require a GP visit outside our normal hours of service please ring the Out of Hours service, South East Health, on 0845 456 5420. Your call will be dealt with by a trained operator at the Out of Hours service, who will take your details. You will need to provide your name, address, a contact telephone number and date of birth. Please be ready with these details.

Depending on the nature of your call the operator will arrange the most appropriate action for you. This may be a phone call from the duty doctor, a trip to the primary care centre or a visit from one of the mobile doctors. Calls to South East Health Ltd will be recorded.

South East Health operate their service from 6.30pm to 8am Monday to Friday and 24 hours Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

You can contact the out-of-hours district nursing service by phoning 0845 4565420. The service is available from 8pm to 8am, seven days a week. It works alongside the out-of-hours GP service.
