If you require a home visit please call the surgery before 10.30 on that day, if possible.

 When requesting the doctor to visit, be prepared to supply the receptionist with the name, address, telephone number and brief details of the problem, this helps the doctor assess the priority of the call.

Home visits are intended only for the very ill or housebound.  If possible patients should make their way to Montpelier surgery to see their GP or other health professional. In cases of severe illness, infirmity, or emergencies, the GP or nurse will visit the patient at home. If you are uncertain ask the receptionist.
